Get Better Physiotherapy

Our goal is to deliver an exceptionally friendly and prompt, professional service providing you with the best in physiotherapy, remedial massage and exercise physiology care. Our experience tell us that there are some key areas we need to focus on to ensure that you receive the greatest benefit from our services.

The practice only collects health information that is necessary to provide quality healthcare. This information will be collected directly from you, or with your consent, the information will be requested from other health professionals that are currently or have treated you in the past.

  • Your health information will be released to a third party appointed by you, only if you have signed a release information consent form.

Remember that healing and recovery from injuries takes time and not everyone heals/recovers at the same rate. If at any time during your care, you do not feel that you are recovering as well as expected we would ask you to discuss this with your therapist. We want you to get the most from your care at Get Better Physiotherapy.

The Action Plan is an estimate and may change depending on how your problem improves with treatment. The plan allows you to organise your time to attain the best possible results. This action plan is based on your history and examination findings and my experience with many cases like yours. Rehabilitation is not a quick fix and becomes longer depending on age, and the extent of imbalance and degeneration of the affected area. It is very important to attend your reassessment appointments as conditions can often relapse and deteriorate if not rehabilitated to a 100%.

Your therapist will outline a recommended action plan as the best plan for your injury. You will achieve the maximum result when you keep your recommended action plan to the schedule. Therefore, to achieve the most out of your care and to save time we ask you to schedule your appointments in advance.

As a courtesy, the practice’s system will send you a reminder message the day before to the mobile phone that has been nominated; the practice does not take responsibility of patients missing the appointment if the system fails to do so; remember that It is the patient’s or legal guardian responsibility to know the time and date the patient has booked the appointment.

Missed appointments will set you back in your recovery, so we ask that wherever possible you keep all your appointments. If an appointment must be changed, 24-hour notice is required as we have a long waiting list and may be able to help others seeking pain relief. If you do not attend an appointment without giving us appropriate notice, full consultation fees will apply. Consideration will be given for unavoidable circumstances.

People who repeatedly miss or reschedule appointments will regretfully be discharged from care as we realise your health goals will not be reached in a timely manner and we do not wish to waste your time.

Fees for private patients are due at the time of service. HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities are available at the front desk for automatic claiming through your private health fund. Workers compensation, Motor Vehicle and DVA patient accounts will be sent directly to the appropriate body. In the event of the claim not being accepted, the patient will be held responsible for all reasonable fees/charges incurred by Get Better Physiotherapy for goods and services provided.

The greatest compliment we can receive is the referral of a friend or family member. The referral of your family and friends is much appreciated as it will both sets them on the road to recovery and well-being and plays a vital role in the success of our business.
