Terms & Conditions – Back Pain Recovery & Pilates Rehab Programs

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Back Pain Recovery Programs, Pilates‑Only Rehab Programs, and Reformer Pilates packages offered by Get Better Physiotherapy & Pilates Centre (“the Clinic”). By enrolling in any program, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Program Structure & Inclusions
1.1 Each program is a time‑bound rehabilitation package with a defined start and end date.
1.2 Program inclusions (number of physiotherapy sessions and Reformer Pilates sessions) are fixed at the time of purchase and cannot be altered, substituted, or exchanged.
1.3 Programs are designed as structured rehabilitation pathways, not casual or drop‑in services.
2. Eligibility & Assessment Requirement
2.1 All participants must complete an initial physiotherapy assessment before commencing any rehab program.
2.2 The Clinic reserves the right to decline or modify program participation if the program is deemed clinically inappropriate or unsafe.
2.3 Clearance for participation is based on clinical judgement, not program preference.
3. Payments & Fees
3.1 All rehab programs are paid upfront in full prior to commencement, unless otherwise stated in writing.
3.2 Programs are offered as bundled services and cannot be separated into individual session charges.
3.3 Prices are subject to change. The price paid at enrolment is honoured for the duration of the program.
3.4 No pay‑as‑you‑go options are available for bundled programs.
4. Private Health Insurance & Rebates
4.1 Rehab programs are sold as bundled packages and are not claimable on the day via HICAPS.
4.2 Where applicable, the Clinic may provide itemised invoices upon request for patients to independently submit to their private health fund.
4.3 Rebates are not guaranteed and are subject to individual fund rules, level of cover, and annual limits.
4.4 The Clinic does not accept responsibility for rejected or reduced claims.
5. Attendance, Cancellations & Missed Sessions
5.1 Sessions are scheduled in advance as part of your program structure.
5.2 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule physiotherapy or Pilates sessions.
5.3 Late cancellations or non‑attendance will result in the session being forfeited.
5.4 Missed sessions cannot be carried over, credited, refunded, or extended beyond the program end date.
6. Program Timeframes & Expiry
6.1 Programs must be completed within the designated timeframe:
- 8‑Week programs: valid for 8 weeks from commencement
- 12‑Week programs: valid for 12 weeks from commencement
6.2 Extensions are not guaranteed and may only be considered in exceptional circumstances at the Clinic’s discretion.
6.3 Unused sessions expire at the end of the program period.
7. Refunds & Withdrawals
7.1 Programs are non‑refundable once commenced.
7.2 No refunds are provided for:
- Change of mind
- Missed appointments
- Early completion or withdrawal
- Travel, illness, or scheduling conflicts
7.3 In exceptional medical circumstances, partial credit may be considered at the Clinic’s discretion.
8. Program Modifications
8.1 The Clinic reserves the right to modify exercises, session formats, or class structures to ensure safety and clinical effectiveness.
8.2 Program delivery may be adjusted due to staff availability, equipment maintenance, or operational requirements.
9. Results & Expectations
9.1 Individual outcomes vary. No guarantees are made regarding pain relief, recovery timelines, or functional outcomes.
9.2 Participation requires active engagement, adherence to guidance, and attendance consistency.
10. Code of Conduct
10.1 Participants are expected to:
- Follow clinical instructions
- Respect staff and other clients
- Attend sessions on time
10.2 The Clinic reserves the right to suspend or terminate program participation due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour, without refund.
11. Liability & Risk
11.1 All exercise involves inherent risk. Participation is voluntary.
11.2 The Clinic is not liable for injuries resulting from:
- Failure to follow instructions
- Withholding relevant medical information
- Activities outside prescribed sessions
12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
13. Acceptance of Terms
13.1 Enrolment in any program constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
13.2 These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
