Get Better Physiotherapy was established in 2012 by the founder Garima Bharti who observed a gap in the provision of Physiotherapy services. Patients were not being heard, were strapped to machines and physios were seeing 2-3 people at the same time dancing between cubicles! There was no emphasis on immediate pain relief by using hands on techniques like joint mobilizations and muscle tension release.
So Garima created a clinic where :
✅ Patients are heard to get a clear understanding of their injury while maintaining their privacy in a room not just a cubicle!
✅ Patients are given hands on therapy/manual therapy to give immediate pain relief.
✅ Patients are educated about how their daily activities were affecting their recovery.
✅ Patients are given a guided plan of action for long term results not short fixes
Garima has over 20 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist. She’s a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, an associate lecturer at University of Queensland and a Certified Reformer Pilates instructor.
Our Vision: To get our patients 100% PAIN FREE!
Our Mission: To educate our patients about the benefits of using manual therapy for immediate relief but also empower them by educating them about long term recovery.
Our values:
✅ Focus on customer service and guidance through the whole journey
✅ Clear and honest communication: regarding support needed
✅ Collaborative and holistic approach to treatment : involve other health professionals
✅ Have fun!
Our Approach to Personalised Physiotherapy Care
At Get Better Physiotherapy, our care is built around understanding the person behind the pain. Every patient arrives with different symptoms, daily demands, movement habits and recovery goals, so we focus on careful listening, clear explanations and practical treatment planning from the beginning. For patients seeking help with back pain, injury recovery, stiffness or movement limitations, this means care that looks beyond the painful area and considers how work, exercise, posture, lifting, stress and everyday routines may affect recovery. Our team uses a combination of hands-on physiotherapy, manual therapy, movement assessment, education and guided rehabilitation to help patients understand what is happening and what steps may support longer-term improvement. This approach also supports services such as Pilates for Back Pain in Regents Park and Brisbane South, where safe movement, core control and confidence are important parts of recovery.
Get Better Physiotherapy Team
Our team works together to make each stage of care feel clear, supportive and goal-focused. From your first contact with reception through to assessment, treatment and follow-up, the focus is on communication, guidance and helping you feel confident about your next steps. Our physiotherapists support a wide range of musculoskeletal and spinal concerns, including back pain, disc-related issues, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports injuries and everyday aches that affect work, exercise or family life. When appropriate, care may also involve remedial massage, hand therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation or physiotherapist-led Reformer Pilates to support strength, mobility and function. This team-based approach helps patients access care that matches their condition rather than a one-size-fits-all session, with treatment adjusted as symptoms, confidence and movement capacity change over time.

Jessica Tainton
Remedial Massage Therapist
With over 5 years of hands-on experience in massage therapy and 19 years in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, I bring a unique combination of rehabilitation, movement, and performance-based knowledge to every treatment session.
My journey began in personal training, where I developed a strong understanding of human movement, injury prevention, and corrective exercise. Over the past 2 years, I have worked as a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, building on 3 years of experience providing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage treatments. This diverse background allows me to assess and treat not only the symptoms of pain but also the underlying causes.
My passion for helping people recover from pain and injury comes not only from my professional experience but also from my own athletic journey. I trained as a gymnast from the age of 7 through to 16 before transitioning into Sport Acrobatics, which I competed in from ages 19 to 25. Throughout the years, I have also participated in CrossFit team competitions and Masters Gymnastics events. More recently, I have rekindled my love for movement by returning to gymnastics, dance, and acrobatic skills through Cheerleading.
Having experienced the physical demands, injuries, and challenges that come with high-level sport and training, I understand firsthand the impact pain and discomfort can have on performance, confidence, and everyday life. These experiences have shaped my approach to treatment and strengthened my passion for helping others move and feel better.
I am passionate about helping clients understand why their pain or injury has occurred and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to support long-term recovery. My goal is to identify the root cause of dysfunction, provide effective treatment, and develop strategies to strengthen and support the body so clients can remain pain-free, recover correctly, and enjoy a better quality of life.
There is nothing more rewarding than helping people on their recovery journey and seeing them return to doing what they love.
